WHO WE ARE
WYPIN is an independent organisation of young people of refugee and migrant backgrounds aged between 12 - 25 years, based in the western region of Melbourne.
WYPIN is interested in engaging young people, identifying important youth issues and addressing those issues through projects, programs and publications. WYPIN advocates on behalf of young people. Challenging racism in the community has been a strong focus of WYPIN for many years.
WYPIN's Committee of Management is comprised entirely of young people. Working from principles of youth empowerment and youth advocacy - our programs and activities are designed to and implemented by young people.
WYPIN is auspiced by Melbourne Citymission.
